This 3,500 square foot loft in the garment district is an NYC pied-a-terre for a San Diego based couple and their young children.

The design is a series of open, interconnecting rectangles separated by large sliding walls.  Large openings between the spaces maintain the views across the space and to the street outside. Special emphasis has been put on creating the family-sized kitchen.

A simple palette of materials results in a relaxing ambience.  Small details at child-scale in the childrens’ room add intimacy and coziness.
