AWARD- Our Large House Rethink project has been selected for the Archello Awards 2024 Longlist in the House of the Year (rural) - Large category.

AWARD- A complete renovation, restoration, and enlargement to a large oceanfront house on Long Island. In addition to rebuilding the envelope, we raised the entire house to comply with current FEMA floodplain elevation regulations. We built a new entry sequence with a new trellis-shaded ramp and single lite door, reclad the building with clear cedar siding, replaced all the windows and doors in a new fenestration pattern, rebuilt the decks and swimming pool, and provided a new rooftop terrace. The entire interior was replanned, rebuilt, re-lit and refinished. The result is a bold, bright, light-filled house for entertaining and beach side living.

AWARD- 101 West End Avenue’s rooftop design won Honoree for the 'Outdoor Space' category in the 7th annual NYCxDESIGN Awards hosted by Interior Design. The award was won alongside Little Island that won the category. The existing 15th floor setback roof had dozens of exhaust penetrations concealed by wood enclosures. By combining ducts and pipes in concise paths, all exhaust was brought up in two zones, concealed with landscaping and screens. This freed up 7,000 SQFT of outdoor amenity space: Spaces to gather, barbeque, sunbathe, and even a special ‘out-of-this-world’ play structure by Monstrum for the kids.

AWARD- The Residential category award went to the “Ocean View House” project in New York created by Bromley Caldari Architects and involving the use of Emilceramica tiles.

AWARD- Ocean Home- “The client basically said: ‘We know what you do – just go ahead and do it,” says Scott Bromley, principal in the New York-based firm of Bromley Caldari Architects. They’d already worked mightily to gain that trust – by designing a main residence, a gym and a pool house in a compound of buildings for the client – along with interior designer Alexander Baer of Jenkins Baer Associates.

AWARD- The sixth annual NYCxDESIGN Awards winners were announced May 17-18 in virtual ceremonies hosted by Interior Design. Winner 101 West End.
