New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center (NYPCC) offers individual and family outpatient counseling to adults, adolescents, and children under the auspices of the NYS Office of Mental Health.  These specialty clinics provide both long-term treatment as well as crisis intervention and assist individuals and families in typically underserved communities to manage personal problems and deal with the stress of poverty.  The Center has been buzzing with activity and programs since day one. 

Originally a three-story, wood framed, brick structure, the building has been enlarged and rebuilt from the ground up into a five story 30,000 square foot facility with over 100 treatment and medical examination rooms!  The building is clad in an exuberant, jazz-patterned, three-color, fiber cement rainscreen on a cement stucco base. Interiors are colorfully rendered with vinyl composition floor tile and Inpro vinyl wall panels. 

Together with NYPCC, we created a landmark on this Courtlandt Avenue corner, known as “The Heart of the Hub” and a new and positive influence within the community.  

We are currently at work on a 20,300 square foot addition for this facility.
